A Tyscot Churchin' Christmas

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
A Tyscot Churchin' Christmas is a collection of contemporary holiday music and classic carols as performed by a variety of artists on the Tyscot label, including John P. Kee, the Indiana State Mass Choir, Kinnection and Rodnie Bryant. All of the songs have a distinct religious message and are arranged to sound like slick urban R&B and adult contemporary pop. This tactic gives the album a cohesive feel, and while it may not be for all tastes -- not because of the religious message, but because of its high musical gloss -- it's nevertheless a strong contemporary gospel Christmas album.
