Meet the Author

Brendan Gerad O’Brien was born in Tralee, on the west coast of Ireland and now lives in Newport, South Wales with his wife Jennifer and daughters Shelly and Sarah. As a child he spent his summer holidays in Listowel, Co Kerry, where his uncle Moss Scanlon had a Harness Maker’s shop, now long gone. The shop was a magnet for all sorts of colourful characters. The story was descriptive and humorous. The reader can sense the anger, tension, and rationale of the man's wife and understand her perspective after she describes her unpleasant experience with her bus ride to go home. Next, the author describes the husband's way of handling his wife 's tension by escaping to the pub where he can think out his previous actions that led to her anger. The way the author descriptively told that part of the story was interesting as it gave meaningful insight. The story line became humorous when the man devised a scheme and the hilarious way the entire very short novel ended. It was well written. If this author wrote a very short humorous mystery, I would definitely buy it.

    Avid Reader

I'm a little perplexed about how this drivel qualifies as erotica, since it's a convoluted story with no romance in it - let alone sex! Sorry I bothered with it at all.
