This was my first 'christmas themed' short story for the season. I was very much excited to read about it, the blurb made me have high hopes while sitting by the fire and reading this sexy short. However, I found myself being just at touch disappointed. I mean the sex scenes were sexy, don't get me wrong, I just didn't click with the characters as much as I would like. In the authors defense I have to say that it is not an easy feat to get the reader to lock down on a character in a short. You have such a small space in order to get you to either love or hate a character. For me I related to the scene in the very end at the book store. That is something that readers and writers of romance dream of happening to us and I thought that out of the whole story that was the most brilliant scene in the whole story. It just didn't give me enough of a Christmas feel. I wanted to snuggle up by the fire and get overheated. I wanted to be consumed by a White Christmas with a naughty edge. It might have just jumped to fast from point A to point B. The writing was great, the story had flow, I just didn't click as much as I wanted to.

I love the cover. It's very Christmasy, and the colors are eye catching. I thought this short story was a cute erotic romance, but there wasn't enough here for me to like it. It's just too short, and everything happens so quickly. There wasn't enough Christmas magic in it either. The only thing that made it Christmasy was Claire putting up decorations and getting knocked out by a snowglobe. The writing was also a bit awkward in the beginning, but it got better as the story progressed. After reading this story, I am curious about the author's other works so I will be checking those out sometime.
