Meet the Author

Loy Spurlock, who is now retired, owned DCC vendor Loy's Toys from 1994 until 2007. He provided reams of original DCC documentation during that time, including the DCC Primer, The DCC Encyclopedia and Mastering the Digitrax Zephyr. He continues to publish a printed version of Mastering the Digitrax Zephyr. William H. Bradley, a retired electronics and software engineer, has over 30 years of experience and formal training in technical writing, and has published numerous articles in magazines and books for the electronics industry. The bulk of his experience is in the semiconductor industry, where he designed integrated circuits for products ranging from calculators and watches to industrial controls, automotive electronics, and avionics systems. He has worked with personal computers since their inception, and has served as a system manger for UNIX installations. His breadth of experience and attention to detail make him well-suited for presenting information in a logical, understandable manner. The training sessions he has presented around the world have enabled him to provide that information for audience levels ranging from beginners to experts.
