About the Author

Gary and Karen Price grew up in rural New York, living a mile apart in the town of Vestal (about seven houses). After Gary graduated from high school, they met at church. They were married in August 1980 and moved to South Carolina to continue their college education. They also lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and New York State. Two of their sons were born while they were living in Fremont, California.
Finally, in 1990 they settled in Colorado, where their other two sons were
born. They all enjoy the view of the gorgeous Rocky Mountains.
Gary is a dedicated husband and father; he works as a building maintenance
mechanic. Karen is foremost a wife and mother; she has taught and edited for many years. A Way Higher Than Ours is their first book.
