A Web Too Tight is the saga of a fall, and we see that although sinners may repent and be forgiven, their sin still exacts a great price. Eubanks chronicles how, by the grace of God, a hurt wife can demonstrate Hosea-type forgiveness and lead others to forgive as well.

"A Web Too Tight" will keep you up all night racing through the pages to see what happens next. Barbara Eubanks fearlessly tackles subject matter that is often ignored in Christian circles: sex, lies, secrets, a pastor's fall from grace. The story of Molly and Jack is filled with emotionally upheaval, surprising twists and turns, and unexpected complications. In the middle of the chaos the power of agape love redeems the darkness but not in a way that the reader could anticipate. I highly recommend this book. Pick it up for yourself and you won't be able to put it down. Chose it for your book club or reading group and you will guarantee a lively discussion. "A Web Too Tight" is a must read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Barbara Eubanks masterfully crafted a novel which addresses a topic which is important in the daily lives of ordinary people: a celebrated and beloved minister's fall from grace and the effects his behavior has on his family, his congregation and his community. The unusual aspect of her book is that she also discusses his road back to redemption. The lesson in forgiveness she provides is outstanding. I would venture to say that not many of us could measure up to the level of charity and kindness that the wronged wife displays - effortlessly.
The novel is a page - turner and is written so that the reader feels a part of the events taking place. One does not "read" this novel; one experiences the events as the characters do.
The novel is , finally, a great tribute to Barbara's Christian ministry.
