    I love this book. This is the cookbook from her cooking show also titled A Week In A Day, she gives you 5 meals that you can make ahead in one day for the entire work week. And even gives you menus, step-by step insturctions, menus and grocery lists. This of course will take you more than her 30 minute meals but it is so worth the extra time. She tells you when to stop the cooking process to store it away and then what you need to do the day that you want to serve it. She also recommends side dishes and even wine choices to go with the meal. I think this is by far her best cookbook yet and I've made several of her meals in this book already. Also if you don't want to cook 5 meals in one day you don't have to, you can just follow the directions for that meal from the beginning to the end and serve it that day.  I can't wait for the follow-up book that we all know will come.

    This is my new fave book. I reccomend this to everyone. You don't need to make the whole week in a day but if you can't be home to start a meal the direction are so easy for the next person to pick up where you left off.

    I like the idea of being able to make all my meals in one day, however, this book requires a fair amount of ingredients that are hard to find (think Whole Foods type spices) or really expensive. I am a busy law student and was hoping this would save me time throughout the week but alas all it has done was sit on the shelf. My recommendation try Chef Jai Scover's Simple, Healthy &amp; Delicious. It is filled with recipes that every one from a novice to an experienced home cook can make. Also, do you know the difference between baking soda and baking powder? Or how long raw eggs will last in your refrigerator? What is &ldquo;resting time?&rdquo; What is the proper temperature to cook chicken? Then, I recommend that you buy a copy of &ldquo;Conquer Your Kitchen&rdquo; from Chef Jai Scovers. In &ldquo;Conquer Your Kitchen,&rdquo; Chef Jai Scovers will show you how to eat healthier and still provide wholesome meals that your entire family will love. Best of all, it is on sale right now here on BN.
