This was a good book, but what happend? I felt like the book just ended. There was no closer...... it could of been really good if she took the time to finish the ending!

    ...And then?

I thought things were actually going pretty well. Good plot. I was interested, things were flowing, it was building, things got crazy. Blink, It's over. huh? I seriously thought I missed something. Did I skip some pages maybe? Nope, it just ended. No explanation. Not even an epilogue in way of an explanation. So two stars because I'm rating something that was going somewhere then was never finished. I see it's a series but even still, this wasn't a regular cliff hanger. There wasn't enough happening in this book and definitely not enough resolved to even finish book 1. A good series gives you something in each book.

    AWESOME.

    To WTH and OMG.

In case you didn't know this... This book is a series. There are two more books in it.

I was aware this was a series when I read it so the ending did make sense, to me anyways.

I happen to like the fact that Ellory isn't your typical heroine. She's mouthy and strong and I found that refreshing.

I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment in the series.

    Eh

I feel that this book could have been better. In my opinion things were rushed and I think they fell in love too quick. It was mostly boring but sometimes a little good. A lot of the things the main characters did and the way they acted was kinda stupid and annoying. But at the end it did get really interesting but the cliffhanger is really huge giving me no idea what just happened and the next book isn't out...doesn't say when it is coming out. I usually love books by this author but I feel this one could have been better.

    A quick exciting read

Ummm, did it really just end like that?! I am so CONFUSED!!! What the hell just happened?!! I don't even know what to say about this book right now, because I'm truly lost as to what is going on. It was an interesting, fast paced read. I have read a few other Lauren Hammond books, and I have come to expect awesomeness from her. I really enjoy her writing, she always sucks you completely into some FUBAR situation that has you on the edge of your seat up until the very end. A Whisper To a Scream was no exception, it may have been a quick read but it kept me totally engulfed from start to finish. I hope this isn't the last of this particular story...maybe book two is coming out soon. One can only hope.

    PURE EVIL GENIUS

OH BLOODY HELL!! What the hell!! What kind of ending is that!! Omg, I knew I should of held off reading this crazy but insanely good book. Lauren Hammond definitely has a way of capturing her audience and suspending us in the midst of pure hell.. And the hell of course is to wait for the next installment.. Which by the way has no scheduled date to be released.. Aside from that, I am gladly placing Lauren Hammond in my favorite authors category because this lady sure knows how to tell a great, captivating, and intriguing dark story..

Full of potential, but fell short in the end

I'd give this book five stars, because it was well-written and thrillings and hard to put down. The ending was a huge disappointment for me. Honestly, there wasn't even an ending. You never find out what happens, there is no closure to the story or the characters, and you're left hanging. As far as I can tell this isn't a series, so we're stuck with no real ending. I really enjoyed every page until I got to the end.

The book was not scary for me as the reviews stated. It was how ever
a great book that kept me interested from start to finish. I love the way this author writes!! Just wish it was a longer book.
