A Window in the Wall and Other Stories
Some of the lively and varied stories in this collection are set in India, others in the West. In the title story, a young man’s dreamy encounter with a beautiful neighbor might lead to a legendary love—or would, if she weren’t dead. In “Tube Baby,” a woman’s search for her father shatters her future plans. In "Break-up," a husband reaches the wrong conclusion about his wife's emotional withdrawal. Surprising stories of love and loss.
