Editorial Reviews

Smashwords - Wendy Mitchell
This was a wonderful short story steeped in Irish lore. Mary has become cynical and disillusioned, when she steps into an empty fairy circle and is whisked back through time. Cian is cursed to have all he loves die. He has dreamed and longed for Mary to end his lonely existence. Can their love break a fairy curse? This was extremely well written and well worth the time invested. It is a story I will reread several times. Just lovely.
Amazon - Pam Crooks
This short story has all the elements of a full-length romance--a tormented hero, an engaging heroine, plenty of conflict and spark in just a few chapters. The characters were well drawn and a good contrast to one another with a fun plot twist in the end. I kept wondering if Mary, the heroine, would stay in the past or return to the present - and no, I'm not going to tell!

It was a cute short story but that is exactly what it is. A shoet story. It would have been a great story if it had more to it. Over all it was written well and it had potential.

    more from this reviewer

What a powerful short story. Michelle had me weepy at the start.

What a powerful short story. Michelle had me weepy at the start. Then it got happier. Who wouldn't be happy if they were on a tour in Ireland. Then the sneaky Fae steal, or try to, the soul of Mary w  Amy she steps into their Fairy Circle. Where were they when I was there? Mary must find love in 3 days or die. Then she meets Cian-in 1173. Michelle writes such awesome people, not characters, into her books. I love her stories, insert inside joke here, I picture Taylor David as Cian! It may be a short story but it packs a punch. It's free for now so try it and get hooked on Michelle too!

    About 30 pages long...................................

Juvenile. Like something you'd write in high school english class. Of course you'd be sent to the principle's office for the x rated sex scene.
