Lauren should be at home, reading and eating take-out. Instead, she’s on the run with the bodyguard she didn’t know she had in a desperate bid to get off the planet before she becomes a casualty in an intergalactic cold war.

Meet the Author

Sela Carsen is a busy wife and mom of two teens who frequently finds her best time to write is when she ought to be sleeping. Born in Texas and raised globally, she now lives in the Midwest with her family, including her mother and their Boxer, Oliver.

She's been writing since 2002 when those first words were written in the steam on the shower door. She soon found a more durable format and has been writing ever since.

A Wolf to Watch Over Me had me smiling from beginning to end. Assassin/Wolf-shifter Hakon has been assigned to guard human Scientist Lauren Ivers. It might’ve been nice if someone informed her of that fact. Once she realizes he’s not trying to kidnap her, they race across the city trying to reach safety and end up falling in love/lust in the process. This is a fast, fun, five-star read and I’d love to see Sela Carsen develop it into a full-length novel. (hint, hint)
