    Shock & Ahhhhhh

At times while reading this book I felt as though I had been transported to a place so deep and so inspiring and so loving it felt as though I was floating. The room and surroundings completely disappeared into the background and it was just me and Marianne. It was a place I have rarely been but it's the place I want to l-i-v-e whatever is left of my life. And living and loving you will learn by gentle, encouragement and sublime, angelic inspiration.

A must read for women searching for their feminine identity

A Woman's Worth is a book about insight into a woman's role in the world. I enjoyed this book because it is about women but is not a feminist book. It touches on relationships, gender and spirituality without imposing a particular way of thinking or belief for any of this areas. I felt it provides the opportunity to understand and choose how to accomplish spiritually and successful relationships with everyone and everything.

When I read a book, (specially self-help)I am aware that it is written by a person. It is based on the author's perceptions and experiences therefore, I do not expect to agree with everything they have to say. However, I still found it extremely useful in understanding and clarifying many misconceptions I and the world have about women and femininity. I've discovered a new way of looking at myself and women in general, with more gentleness and understanding. It provides women with guidance back to their true essence.

Originally I read this book in hard cover form and gave that copy away to someone after I'd finished. Because I like returning/rereading books, I purchased the audio format the second time around. I find it very convenient.

If only I had this book 30 years ago!

Every Mother should share this book with your daughter. The author empowers women by letting them know 'just by being born a woman' we have what it takes to touch lives, heal and live a purposeful life! This book should be a textbook for high school girls!

Every Woman Should Read this Book

This is one of the most empowering women's books I have ever read. 'The woman that is truly self aware knows that her self is a light from beyond this world...' This book will help you find your internal power and will help raise your self-esteem on a very deep level. I have highlighted more lines in this book than any other. If you are feeling stuck or just need a boost in life, this is a great book to read.

Williamson goes far deeper and wider than psychological self hel

Williamson goes far deeper and wider than psychological self help normally can. In dealing with our self-image problems, she walks through mental walls between personal, social, spiritual and worldly concerns. She shows how the big picture of our significance looks from her open-hearted view. For Williamson, love and marriage are not just necessary "conventions of the world"; they are schools of the soul: "... that is why we learn to love: to care so completely for one other person that our hearts break open wide and we learn to love them all". (p. 99)

The expansion of context brings a flood of light, more uplifting than any exhortation to positive thinking.

    A reviewer

This should be required reading for young women across the world. It empowers you to see what our purpose is and how to value ourselves and still be strong women. I can hardly put it down.

    Know your strength and power

If I owned a school, this book would be required reading for all female students. Get it for yourself and for every girl and woman you know, especially if they're in an unhappy situation. I have given many copies of this as gifts, and it is always appreciated. It's amazing how a woman who knows her own power can deal with any situation she finds herself in, whether it involves changing her circumstances or finding the courage and wherewithal to move away from then.
