If you believe a novel cannot move you to tears, I recommend you read this one! The Angel of Vengeance and the Angel of Joy are sent on an enlightening task of living among mortals in New York City for 'A Year and a Day. Unbeknownst the Angel of Vengeance, the Angel of Joy has been set to task to rescuing his sanity. Since he has spent eternity dealing with the evil and wicked, he is about to fall. The Angel of Joy's task is to save the Angel of Vengeance. During this task, there are many interactions and other character developments that showcase Harvey's ability to create believable and realistic characters. Though this novel is often classified as Romance, it clearly falls into an 'Urban Fantasy' Category and is one that I strongly recommend, regardless of your preferred genre. Harvey weaves a fantastic tale that touches on some often unsought truths of many mainstream religions. I felt a profound sadness at the story's end from knowing that there was nothing left to read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
