I have no idea what the self promoting guy was thinking down below. I enjoyed the story. It was realistic. The characters were great. As for the profanity, there was one swear. IT'S A ZOMBIE STORY! I think people forget that we read stories to be entertained. I was entertained. As for the Grammar and spelling: I didn't notice any problems. It is what it is, an entertaining short story. One guy said the writing was so bad he had to put it down after 20 pgs. It was only 20 pages long. lol. Get a life trolls and stop picking on the indie authors. :P

    Huh

    >>Typical of the zombie genre short stories in that the spelling and punctuation are at a 6th grade level. Worse, the wording is somewhat confusing; as though written by someone new to the english language. It reads more like fan fiction. If you just like to read anything zombie and dont care about what I noted above, you may like this one...if you like a well crafted tale with heroism, survival, action, and zombies- try something by Mark Tufo, Bryan James, or Robert Decteau! The only two good thingss I can say about this story is that it was free and it was short.

    Not good

I love zombie books and movies, but I only made it about 20 pages in and had to stop. The writing was so bad, i just couldn't take it anymore.

    Conjured Reviews

This is an interesting story. The characters are very realistic, but the setting isn't. Anyone who loves zombie stories would enjoy this read. But it doesn't really explain the situation.

    Very, very bad.

"Hit the trail and charged down it like an invading army that spotted a weakness in the enemies war-line, or like how I thought it was, we were a fleeing army, I do prefer the other." That's a line from this short story. What the hell does that even mean? This story reads like an overly dramatic 14 year old kid wrote it.

Solid short zombie story. Its about 60ish pgs. A pretty good story, I could see this happening, going to a store, someone gets sick, there is panic & confusion & the only thing you can think of is to get home to your family. Oh but now, you're the danger to them. Good story
