Starts with 60 puzzles to progressively teach the game. Then, when you're ready, you can play the game solo or with a friend. Looks and sounds just like the real-world board game, but smaller, more portable, and no possibility of losing the marbles.
It is easy to select the wrong marble, or slide it in the wrong direction, but you can always undo such slips. The move doesn't become official until you hit the end turn button in the corner.
If you buy this game and you're losing a lot, remember two simple goals: keep you marbles bunched together as tightly as possible, and keep them as close to the center of the board as possible. Then slowly but steadily move your blob of marbles to split up the opposing marbles and push them to the wall! Note that which wall it's best to push them against can and will change rapidly. Be flexible!
The rules of the game take only a few minutes to learn. Winning strategy takes hours. Mastering the game could take many years.
There are not many two-player games that are better. Give it a try! This app is a beautiful implementation, and the best tool for teaching it that I could find. And it's much cheaper than the physical board game!
