Overview

[Menage and More: Erotic Paranormal Menage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, werewolves, bondage, sex toys, HEA] Abbey Tyler is a successful business woman who has made one huge mistake. She married a man who only wants control of her business and her money. He is willing to do anything to get them-including killing her. To make sure that doesn't happen, she does the only thing she can think of. She runs. Hunter Stewart and Clayton Forest are the gorgeous heartthrobs of Beckett's Wolf Pack. They're perceived as players who want nothing but a succession of dates and a good time. But they're dedicated police officers who protect Beckett's pack and the members of the human community. They long for the time when they will find their triad mate. The Fates have destined Abbey to be the woman who will ease their loneliness and heal their souls. Her dream of finding love and having a family will finally come true as long as Hunter and Clay can protect her and their unborn child from her husband. Note: While Abbey's Protectors is a stand-alone title, it is suggested that this series be read in numerical order for continuity. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

    Good but expensive.

Really good. The only downside is that the author doesn't allow "lend me's". I think that when you pay $7.50 for a book you should be able to lend it out, if it was a paperback you could. I think that the cost is high for an ebook that you can't even lend to a friend. There are so many good books out there to read that I will rethink buying more from this author.

    Title: Abbey's Protectors
    Author: Lynnette Bernard
    Publisher: Siren
    Published: 6-19-2013
    Pages:

Abbey Tyler is on the run from the man who married her for her money and control of her late father's company. Five months after their wedding she tries to escape but finds he has sabotaged her car. Not giving up she runs into the woods surrounding their house as he is chasing her with the intent to kill her. Abby hides in a cave.

While waiting in the cave she dreams of her father introducing her to a beautiful woman who tells her of two men who will find her, protect her, and she tells how there will be children and love in their future together. The woman tells her how the men are shifters that can change into wolves. Told to trust these men the future they will have and that she may share all this with the two friends that have helped her escape.

In the middle of the night she leaves the cave and makes her way towards the nearest town. Cold and exhausted she collapses. That is where Hunter Stewart and Clayton Forest find her fevered and unconscious. Watching over her and protecting her from all sources of danger until they can tell her their secret and claim her as their mate and bring her home to the Beckett pack land. When Abbey wakes up to find two strange men by her hospital bed. Gorgeous beyond belief but still strangers.

As the days pass Abbey gains strength and her body starts to heal Hunter and Clayton stay with her by taking a leave from the police force. They explain who and what they are. Abbey tells the to show her they are really wolves. When they do she puts it down to the drugs she is taking for the pain, infection and fever. A beautiful dream, but only a drug induced dream.

Abbey trust no man but finds herself drawn to Hunter and Clayton. She runs from the hospital and disappears. Hunter and Clayton hunt for their mate afraid she has left town and they will be destined to be alone forever. Abbey aps in yet another hotel room dreams again of the beautiful women that shows her a glimpse of the future. The vision shows the men in the diner just down the street. Then she sees the alley outside the diner and there are Hunter and Clayton are shot down and die. Jumping up she runs to save them any way she can. Dream or not truth or not she knows she cannot let anything happen to them.

The future is uncertain for these triad mates. Can Hunter and Clayton convince Abbey that she is the third of their triad? That they really are wolf-shifters and belong to a pack of wolf-shifters? That the love her and will do anything to protect her? Can Abbey trust her instincts and the emotion these two men bring out in her? Can she escape her husband until all the legal safeguards are in place? How can Synthia and Shelly accept Abbey's dream so readily? Will it ever be safe to come out of hiding? Can she trust Hunter and Clayton and the love they profess for her? So many questions asked, but you will never know the answers unless you read the book.

Ms. Bernard has brought us another book filled with all we want in romance in our real lives. A mate (in this instance mates) that are not only faithful, but work together to ensure the mated unit thrives. Each partner put the needs of the others before themselves. They pledge themselves to ensure the good of the whole community. How many of us would not love to live in such a world?

Thank you Lynnette Bernard for providing a world where there is such love and hope for the future. You renew our very souls with the family above all theme that runs through all your books. After listening to the new of a world falling apart it is a pleasure to read a story of such beauty.
