    Valuable Pharmacy Resource

This book belongs on every pharmacy reference shelf whether it is in the corner drugstore or the hospital pharmacy. The sections in this book on pharmacological actions, mechanism of action, clinical review, and clinical studies are especially valuable as these often do not exist in other herbal references. The information on clinical studies is displayed in a series of tables that are quick to scan and yet are detailed. This book contains all the essential information on the 29 top-selling herbs in the United States in an easy to acess format. All sections are extensively referenced. The section on Ginkgo contains six pages of clinical studies tables and three pages of references. This book is the best herbal information source on the market today for the practicing pharmacist.

    Best of its kind

Way too much info of dubious quality on the medicinal value of herbs is flooding the bookstores and the internet. This book is the 'real deal': accurate info based on clinical data written by experts in the field. Don't use herbs without it!
