Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
These write & wipe flash cards will help children learn to write their uppercase ABCs. Each card features the outline of a letter on one side with proper stroke order noted, and a picture and word illustrating the letter on the other. A dry-erase marker is included so children can write and erase letters over and over!

We make our flash cards extra-thick to stand up to repeated use. And most importantly, our cards are extra-large to emulate the size of a parent's face - because our research shows that children most easily absorb information presented in this format.

Perfect for toddler learning to write

The Kumon workbook series have always been a huge hit with my 6 year old. He started using them when he was 3. Now my 3 year old daughter is starting to use them. These ABC writing cards are good practice for her. They are thick cardboard, and use "dry-erase" pen for writing. The pen cap has an eraser on it. The back of each card has a picture of a word that starts with the letter. But the back of the cards are not erasable, so if they write on the back with the pen, it's permanent. The only thing bad about the dry-erase pen is that it gets all over my daughter's hand since she's left-handed. Not a big deal though. Watch your kids--these markers don't come out of carpet or clothes!!!
