I really enjoyed ... (this) ... Not only is it remarkably executed but the psychological profiles of the characters are mesmerizing and their desires and needs sharply poignant... Varian manages to be descriptive without being cloying, her writing almost clean in its efficiency... I will look forward to Varian's works in the future. 4.5/5 - REVIEWER TOP PICK!

Ms. Krylov really pushes the envelope ... the story is very dark in some places, heartwarming in others. The plot is engrossing and the story drew me in so much, I just had to keep reading, despite, or maybe because of, the dark sensuality of the tale. Ms. Krylov delivers a tale of psychological rape and sexual awakening. I found it thought provoking and deeply sexy.

From the start the raciness of the tale is heart stopping. The unusual turn of events will keep the reader guessing what will happen next. Nothing is what it seems.     Loved

    I really enjoyed this book some parts did dragged but really good! The book ended too abruptly though one or two more pages would have helped for a smoother ending.

    Begins with promise...

    But goes on, and on, and on. And I'm not usually one to complain that a novel is too long. The problem here is that Krylov is just belaboring the point. That said, the heroin of the story is deeply, deeply appealing, as is the villain Conrad who can also be read about in "Conrad's First Girl." The protagonist (Joe?) is an unappealing character. Conrad, despite being the abductor, is much more clever and charming. Read the book, but don't be surprised if you give up 2/3 of the way through. Definitely read Conrad's First Girl.

    Pretty good book!

    Overall I enjoyed the book. It was good in a weird kind of way! There was never a boring part for me in this book and I get bored pretty easy. The only thing I didn't like about this book is the ending, to me, could have been MUCH better. I kind of thought that it left at kind of a cliffhanger. I wanted to know what happened between the main characters. I also wanted to know what happened to the mysterious Conrad. Other than that it was a great book! I recommend it!

    Seriously hot!

    This is really long for an erotic BDSM story, at over 400 pages. But the plot kept moving and the characters did seem to develop believably. I really enjoyed it and you will too if you are looking for something that combines BDSM, abduction, coercion, voyeurism/exhibitionism and M/F/M.
