About This Edition of Abide in Christ:

• Linked Table of Contents - Quick and easy navigation through the content by chapters

I pray earnestly that our gracious Lord may be pleased to bless this little book, to help those who seek to know Him fully. I pray still more earnestly that He would, by whatever means, make the multitudes of His dear children who are still living divided lives, to see how He claims them wholly for Himself, and how the wholehearted surrender to abide in Him alone brings the joy unspeakable and full of glory. --Andrew Murray

So many Christians, instead of accepting God's invitation to enter His throne room, stand alone outside the door, uncertain and ashamed. Christ beckons them to His banqueting table and offers them a room in His house, but they foolishly give up the glory of the life He has offered. They come to Jesus as Redeemer but never go beyond the doorway to abide in Him and experience the unspeakable joy of dwelling with the King of kings.

Andrew Murray knew what it meant to be continually in the Father's presence. Read these thirty-one heart-searching readings and learn how to live daily in closer communion and fellowship with Him. Accept God's invitation and live in His blessing and glory instead of shuffling your feet at the gate.

"Abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming." --1 John 2:28

REDISCOVER YOUR HIGHEST CALLING IN CHRIST!
I am a great fan of great devotional writing and Andrew Murray's "Abide In Christ" is one of my top choices along with a few, time-tested others (Testament of Devotion by Thomas Kelly, The Depths of Jesus Christ by Jeanne Guyon, The Spiritual Guide by Michael Molinos, The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer).

I know of no other lesson that is as crucial to every child of God than learning to "Abide in Christ." And yet there is nothing easier than

Simply Abide
I love this book. I pick it up every couple of years, and it continues to bless me richly with every read. Andrew Murray simplifies the teachings of Jesus down into three words: "Abide in me." If a believer will simply strive to abide in Christ, all the other benefits will result. Joy overflowing, fruitful ministry, answered prayer, etc. This book is an all time classic with great depth and simplicity in its theology. Buy it and a copy for all your close friends. Murray takes on ideas and weaves into a series of short essays you can read in one month. Perfect as a devotional tool, but richer then typical pop spirituality.

This was one of the greatest books on living in Christ I've ever read. Though tough reading, it still influences my prayer life today. If you haven't read it, you must!
S C Lazar
This book makes plain to the Christian what Sunday school may have left out; that because of Christ's sacrifice we can live in G-d's presence. Mr.Murray brought to mind all the verses I've tended to forget about the great and holy gift that Jesus gave to us. That because of the Cross, the Creator of the Entire Universe actually lives in me! Abide in Christ is about G-d's word concerning His living inside of us, and how we live in His love. If you've ever been under the misconception that G-d is

    Abide

Andrew Murray changed the way I think about the Holy Spirit and its power and manifestation in my life. Furthermore, reading Abide in Christ made me come square in the face with the realization that I have been totally limiting the awesome and almighty power of God, which is nothing short of unbelief. Composed of 31 short chapters, Abide in Christ is a great daily devotional that you can dedicate one month to (or go through monthly!), and I promise that you will see a change in your life if you allow it! Using the scripture about the Vine and the Branches, Murray breaks down Jesus' words and seemingly unlocks a secret to the Christian life that I had never heard articulated in all my years of church-going and Bible studies. I'd like to provide quotes from the book, but it's so good I'd end up reciting it in its entirety! So buy this book. Your soul will be glad.

    Abiding in Christ

This is an excellent 31 day study on "Abiding in Christ". It is based on the book of John, chapter 15, verses 1-6. We Christians need to know how to be quiet and how to allow God to do His work within us. I highly recommend this book for study, for those Christians looking for a deeper walk with God.

The only problem is some misspellings. Sometimes there is a "T" instead of "!", and "C" instead of "I". I assume it is due to someone using software that is supposed to recognize old scanned pages and discern the correct spelling, but is not working 100%.

I still recommend this 31 day study for any and all Christians who desire a fuller life, a richer life, a holy life.

    Rachel

Hi. I'm 15 years old. I'm Christian, more spacificly Baptist. I believe exactly what the Bible says. I believe Jesus, God's only begotten Son, was sent here to earth over two thousand years ago to a virgin named Mary. I believe Jesus died at age 33, but rose again three days later. I believe Romans 10:13 If you believe Jesus died to pay your sin debt, rose again, and lives today, you can ask Jesus to cleanse your sins from your heart, and ask Him to come live there to stay. I believe baptizim is a public confession of your faith in Jesus Christ, and it should be done after accepting salvation from sins. I do not believe Jesus would ever take away your salvation, but l know people can fall away from the Lord. I enjoy praising the Lord by playing any one of the five instruments that l know how to play to his glory. I go to church on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and Wednesday nights. I attend Sunday School when l can, and l am very involved in our church youth group study held on Wednesday nights. I recieved Christ as my Savior at age 8, but because our family has moved a LOT the pest several years, l didn't get baptized until this past January. One thing for certain, l love Jesus and all He has and hasn't given me! I know He will always do whats best for my life, even if l dont particularly like it!! Hope this explains my faith!! :) God bless †††

    Absolutely stunned by this book

It is amazing to read a book as rich as this in challenging me in clinging ever closer to my savior. I have rarely reccommended a book so frequently as this as i slowly took it in over two months.
