    Light, Fun and entertaining

This was a very good book, perhaps more than expected and it really gave a nice original (to me) view of a story of fae and witches. I would definitely recommend this and even ok for young adults as nothing very explicit in it.

Well, Heather Marie Adkins did it again.    I have only read a handful of this authors books and a few months ago I dubbed her as my new favorite author.  After reading Abigail I now know for sure she is definitely one of the best and I know one day everybody will read  this and say the same thing.      Every time I read one of her books I say it is my favorite but after reading 'Abigail'  I definitely believe this is the best.  Her writing is immaculate and every time she has a way of just pulling you in.  I loved all the characters, especially the older lady Gae.  I could just see this played out in a movie..  Abigail is part human and part Fae and she is trying to find her place in the world.  I love her personality.  .  I dont like to say too much because I hate giving anything away.  But believe me ig you like fairy's, action, romance, surprises and paranormal you will LOVE this book and her books are always inexpensive which is a shocker because this author is good, very good.  Fortunately for me I was given a free copy for an honest review.  I was so hooked as I so often am when reading Heathers books that it was hard for me to put my book down and then when my charger broke I had to go and buy one immediately.  I have a feeling there will be another part to this story as I am pretty sure on the last page it mentions something about a continuation so I can not wait for this to come out.   I think I have Heather Marie  fever because I only have one more of her books in my library so I will have to check out her page and buy some more books otherwise I will end up with anxiety attacks and severe withdrawals,  :)  Anyway you wont be dissapointed if you purchase this book.  I can tell she put all her enerby into this.  I have a crazy chaotic life right now and when I read Abigail it helped me escape for a little while and made me feel like I was in a different world.   WTG Heather you did it again!   I enjoyed Abigail immensely and the front covers are always so appealing.

Great story of a faery finding her place in the world

The story starts with Abigail finding herself up for sale as a slave. She is lucky that her purchaser has decided that he would like to have her take care of his kid sister. But Abigail is not completely human; she is part faery with a connection to the earth. On the trip to her new home, she demonstrates her powers in different ways.

On the little island that is now her home, she meets others faeries and learns that the land that the house is built on belongs to the faery king and he plans on taking that land back. She also learns that she has a connection to the faery kings brother even though she loves William.

I really liked this story. I¿m sad to say that I have had it in the TBR pile for a while and feel really bad that I didn¿t read it sooner. The only thing I was not impressed with was the relationship with the3 faery kings brother. Something rubbed me wrong with that.

Beyond that, if you like paranormal romances with faeries in them, you will like this.

I received this from the author in exchange for an honest review.

    Loved this Story

Adkins did an amazing job of blending the human and faery world together seamlessly. I loved all the characters especially William and his sister Angel. I don't want to give anything away, but the ending was sad and fitting. I hope the author does a sequel!
