Meet the Author

Able Guides - the guides for the eBook generation - are short, breezy, fact-filled primers on a number of interesting topics, written by people who actually know a bit about their subject.

Rather than burden readers with heavy, ponderous books that give too much esoteric detail, Able Guides provide a literary degustation. We get the reader started on a subject, and point him in the right direction. In doing so, we aim to provide a palatable first taste, while kindling a hunger for more.

    Very disappointing.

Definitely not for children. The cover is the best thing about the book, which is repetitive with many typos and no llustrations.

Your kids will love you (more)!

This is a very brisk, easy-to-read book and it gives you the basics without sounding like a textbook. If you love kids, you know that they love to pretend. Face painting adds to the fun. What a great rainy-day activity?

It;s even possinle to start a small business as a face-painting artist. That's not for me - I just want to make the neighborhood kids happy!
