Overview

Arguments in favor of abortion are humorously exposed as illogical, by way of compelling (but rather bizarre) examples, logical reasoning and historical/legal research. Justifications for abortion which are shot down in this volume are: the 'right' of privacy; the assertion that 'it's my body and I can do what I want with it;' in vitro fertilization; social problems allegedly linked to fertility; the fallacy that unsafe abortions will occur if abortion is not legalized; and more.

Well, we are all entitled to our own opinions, however hilariously stupid they apppear to an educated person. Another throw-away book.

Absolute drivel.

The author somehow believes that a plethora of weak metaphors equate to a valid logical argument.

This book put me to sleep so many times I could not even read it.

This book was pretty good. The author presented logical arguments for the most part, and she didn't really bring religion into the argument, which is good in my opinion because I think the religious aspect of Pro-life organizations and writings turn some people away from truly thinking the arguments through. All in all, I would recommend the book, whether your Pro-lif or Pro-choice.

Is killing a baby. If you believe killing is wrong, you should be against abortion. If you say fertilized eggs are not humans, then you are wrong. Those fertilized eggs just have not yet grown limbs. But if you let them, they will. If you let them continue growing, they will eventually become an adult. An abortion stops that chance. This is simple logic, yet many do not understand. I am a feminist. Abortion is not "the right to chose." If you not want a baby, do not have a baby. What about rape, you may ask? I am a woman and I think that women should learn to protect themselves from rape. (it would also be wonderful if RAPISTS DIDN'T RAPE)

I enjoyed the logic of it. There is a chapter in which parts have been blacked out that is a little annoying.

Love this!!!! I am certainly pro-life and if there's one thing that knocks me off my chair its the right to abort babies.
