Meet the Author
Richard Lewis entered the advertising profession in 1978. Since 1987 he has been in charge of the Absolut Vodka advertising account at TBWA/Chiat/Day, overseeing the brands' ever-changing campaign. He lives in Dobbs Ferry, NY with his wife and three children.

This book is on par with buying a book about Elvis or Marilyn Monroe because all of them are icons in their own right. Absolut Vodka is a great example of how it is possible to turn a consumer product into not just a brand but also an icon and this book does a great job of doing it justice. A must have for any advertising agency's waiting room or a fan of the ads.
I have had the chance to talk with Richard Lewis a couple of times at marketing industry events and it is clear when you talk to him that he is inspired by the product. You can hear the enthusiasm for the brand in his voice and that enthusiasm is evident in the body of work this book illustrates. This book is a great example of how it is possible to turn a consumer product into not just a brand but also an icon. I would encourage all brand marketers to get this book and take to heart the importance of enthusiasm. Instead of looking at your clients as just a paycheck, try to really find that trigger which inspires you to create with enthusiasm because it is true inspiration, which creates the best ideas.

Very good book,glad i bought it
Many people in these days, do not appreciate creativity. We have to be honest, creativity is not a thing that is easy to get; you have to be constantly thinking, dreaming and creating. The Absolute Book has been published with all of these characteristics. The Absolute Book was created to express through photographs the modern kind of life, to all kind of people.
Very entertaining everytime I look at it.
