Meet the Author

A manga artist for over ten years, Watase's debut came in 1989 at the age of 18 when her short story PAJAMA DE OJAMA (An Intrusion in Pajamas) appeared in the monthly Shôjo Comic manga anthology. Since then she has written and drawn some 50 volumes worth of different short stories and long-running manga series, including the fantastically popular FUSHIGI YÛGI, also available in English from VIZ. Her works have provided the basis for two television series, an OVA series, anime soundtrack CDs, and a string of novels.

When you want a boyfriend none are around, that is just how Riik

When you want a boyfriend none are around, that is just how Riiko feels. On the path of desperation she signs up for a free trial for a robotic boyfriend. What can go wrong right? Nope, wrong! Riiko receives the extravagant Night, a hot and sexy man that only wants to please her.

Seriously this is one of the best manga I have ever read! It is filled with romance and comedy and enjoyable characters. I fell in love with every aspect of this series right from the beginning. There is an interesting love triangle that also develops, I had a hard time choosing which guy I would end up picking, you will have to see for yourself.

Riiko is just a doll! No, not literally, but cute nonetheless. She is always looking on the bright side of things and is protective of the ones she loves. Night is the epitome of every girls dream guy. He is so adorable when he is learning all of the different emotions and things Riiko is trying to teach him. Night is really cute when he starts becoming overprotective of Riiko.

I really wish they would make it into an anime!!!

    Highly Recommended

There is a Japanese TV show for this series but I prefer the manga over that TV show. I LOVE YOU NIGHT!
I got sucked into it and cried a whole lot after I finished and in the morning I felt hollow.

This series has a good start but a very SAD ending

Just wanted to warn people not to get sucked in like I did. This series starts out good but ends in a very depressing way. I will not be buying the rest of the series (I read the ending online).

Just a Person who loves manga.

I've read volumes 2 and 3 and i loved them!!! i read shojo beat magazine and so i know some of the things that happens in this volume, but i wont tell. All i can say is that the two on the cover may look nice, but behind their adorable faces is a plot to seperate Night and Riiko. But until then, you'll just have to wait and see!

I hope that this manga is better than vol. 1,2,& 3. I really want to read this one about Riiko finds her first crush. I just cant wait to read it anymore. I hope that i will get to buy it by Aug. 28. I think! But i just cant wait to read it. i love the art of Yuu Watase. Because she draws so good. My favorite characters of her drawings are: Miaka, Tomohome, Riiko, Night, Soshi(He's so cute), Cere, Toya, Aya, & Aki. I just cant wait to read Absolute Bf!! :O I hope that one day i would be able to see Yuu Watase in real life! Peace OUT!!!!!!!!!!
