More About This Book

Overview

"I take you to be my lawfully wedded spouse, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward. In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live."
This very second, thousands of couples around the world are making a similar vow to each other. But how many people truly realize the depth of the words that they pledge to each other? Not many in my opinion.
How does it affect you? How do you feel about the world and yourself? How are you changed? When you live, breathe, and believe in the vows that you make to your spouse and they are sadly lacking in their commitment to you. What would you do? Would you continue to love unconditionally.or would you do.something .else?
This is my story. I was not loved unconditionally. I was not supported in my goals. I was not honored and respected. I was not cherished for as long as I lived and when this book ends, you will see an alternate reality of my life that could have been.
This novel is a precursor to the Off the Chain series and like all my books can be read independently, but it reads with more depth when you put it in the proper sequence with my other novels and read them in order.
Now for those of you making a face right now because you're irritated that yet again I have placed myself as the main character in another one of my books I am going to make a short statement.
Remember the two word comment that I made in the conclusion of Off the Chain Volume 2 to all the people who didn't care for that book? (Let me give you a hint.the first word starts with an F and the second word starts with a Y!) Well that same two word comment applies to you! Get over it! I love writing about me! Haven't you figured that out by now?
Are you scratching your head right now? Are you thinking, ".what's going on? I thought Abundant Ministries was a book on spiritual enlightenment." Awww. you poor confused thing. You've never heard of Euftis Emery have you? You didn't look closely at the cover did you? Well here is a bit of insight about me. I's reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal nasty! Yeap! And I can prove it to! I got a nasty website (http://adultdreamhost.com/user/euftis/EuftisEmery.html). Look it up! It's full of nasty people just like me and we get together and talk about all kinds of nasty shit!
So if you don't want your eyes to explode, just close this book right now and go and get your money back. But for everyone else as always.. Enjoy the read.

    Transformer

I began reading this book one night and it will fool you into thinking that it's going to be a sweet wholesome book. Then you remember who the author is and your mental thoughts change.

Unhappy in his marriage to someone who is having mental problems, Euftis has a mistress on the side-whom does not know that he is married. His wife pushes him to attend church with her and there at church he meets the pastor's wife. (Use your imagination from there about that situation).

In dealing with his mistress who is wanting him to herself, a manipulative wife with mental issues, the pastor's wife and to set it off his sister-in law wants him to taste her. How did the man stay sane?

If one reads between the lines, you know that Euftis loved his wife however her manipulation more than anything is why he transformed into seeking gratification outside of their marriage.

I recommend this book, however I did have some questions at the end that were unanswered until I spoke with the author himself.

    XXX-Rated

By looking at the title of this book you would assume this is going to be a good, wholesome, Christian read, right? Wrong! This book is chock-full of sex. From threesomes, oral and anal sex, no stone goes unturned when it comes to the subject of sex with Mr. Emery.

Euftis Emery is unique when it comes to penning this novel by putting himself as the main character. Euftis is married to Leata, who unfortunately is dealing with some sort of mental illness, hearing voices in her head and acting irrationally. Euftis has his hands full just by dealing with his crazy wife, who wants things her way or throws a tantrum if she doesn't. Leata is hell-bent on trying to get Euftis to attend church with her because he isn't saved and has no relationship with God, so Leata disagrees with any decision that Euftis makes. Little does Leata know that Euftis is fed up with her lying, manipulative ways and feels she is a hypocrite, so he refuses to go with her.

Having a job as a section manager for the Department of Defense making good money, he has problems with a few of his superiors. Not only is he constantly on edge to see what will be thrown his way at work next, he has a couple women that he is sexing in the workplace, with no qualms of getting caught. He also has a woman on the side that doesn't know he's married and a sister-in-law that keeps trying to throw herself at him. But he does have some morals or does he? Euftis is unhappy with his marriage and wants out but not quite sure how to accomplish that. Will he figure out a way or will he keep doing what he's been doing with all his extracurricular activities since Leata is none the wiser?

ABUNDANT MINISTRIES took me quite awhile to read. It was slow moving, especially with all the detail and the ins and outs of what he did at his job. I feel the story itself was overshadowed by all the sexual scenes within the book. I think they need to put a stamp on this book - XXX-Rated. If you are a fan of porn, then you will probably love this book. All in all, I thought it was just an okay read.

Reviewed by LeonaR
