Daniele Lanzarotta is the author young adult paranormal fiction, including the Imprinted Souls Series, and upcoming Academy of the Fallen.

She has a bachelor’s in business and finance and is working on her MBA. With only a few semesters left in school, Daniele started writing as a hobby, but it didn’t take long for her to be consumed by her stories. That is her passion, and she now has several projects under way.


She enjoys reading and writing young adult novels with just about any sort of paranormal or supernatural bent…vampires…. ghosts… Daniele currently lives in Virginia Beach, VA, with her husband, daughter and two lovable puppies (who are not really quite puppies anymore), Stitch and Gizmo.

    This book totally rocked my world. The story was packed with action and some romance, a perfect YA read!

    Kayla is a 16 year old living happily with her adoptive parents. Soon things get a little crazy when she starts seeing and talking to people that aren't really there. Just when she thinks that she may be losing it, Hunter confirms that she isn't crazy. He helps her to understand and use her abilities to talk to ghosts. Together they work on figuring out why a demon is after her.

    AWESOME!!!!!

    Kayla nor only has to save herself but her sister, bdf (best dead friend), and ex-bff's kid's life rest on her shoulders. And her brother aint letting anything stand in his way to live again.

    A must read book!!!

    Kayla has to learn who she is, because she was adopted as a child to be kept away from the academy. She then meets the mysterious guy, Hunter, who says that he can help Kayla discover why she see's certain things! The book is intense from beginning to end.

    I loved this book. It is def a different take on something I have not read before which I like. It did not make me think of any other books, which is a problem that I have had reading some books lately. I definitely can't wait til the next book
