About the Author

Arnie Kuenn

Arnie Kuenn is the founder and president of Vertical Measures, a Phoenix-based online marketing firm. The company provides strategic, search, social and content marketing services to clients all around the world. Vertical Measures has a unique approach, resulting in higher levels of qualified site visitors and greater sales conversion rates for its clients, which range from major ecommerce websites to universities, fortune 500 companies and SEO agencies.

Kuenn has held executive positions in the new technologies and marketing industry for more than 20 years. In 1993, he successfully launched a technology and distance education company, which grew to more than 90 employees in five states. In 1999, he founded MediaChoice, an Internet start up which received a patent for its personalization technology. The firm's clients included CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox and many major movie and music studios. The business was sold to Nielsen Media in 2004. The company conducted extensive Internet marketing which led to the formation of Vertical Measures in 2005.

Mr. Kuenn served on the 2008 Arizona Super Bowl Marketing Committee and is a founder and past president of the Arizona Interactive Marketing Association (AZIMA). Arnie is a frequent speaker at conferences such as PubCon, SMX Advanced, AMA Phoenix, Online Marketing Summit, Social Media AZ, ASU Cronkite School of Journalism and many online webinars. Arnie is also an instructor for the Online Marketing Institute and the Content Marketing Institute.

When Arnie isn't running a business or traveling around the country, he's a husband and father of two grown children. He spends his free time hiking in the mountain preserve near his home or taking trips to Prescott, AZ, which you'll learn more about in his book, Accelerate!

Arnie has put together a great book that pulls in the various facets ad nuances of publishing in a search and social landscape. If you are getting into content marketing and need a concise volume that pulls together the key considerations for getting started, this is a great way to go. Content marketing in today's landscape is very complex, and it really takes a library of info to get going. This book should be a cornerstone of that library.
