Overview

New from Candy Apple: Book three in a middle-school series by New York Times-bestselling author Lisa Papademetriou. It's sweet, fresh, and fun--take a bite!

Seventh grader Amy Flowers is finally making her mark at ultra-exclusive Allington Academy, but there's always one thing standing in her way: the League. They rule the school, and their queen is oh-so-mean Fiona, who doesn't exactly appreciate a new girl invading her turf. This time, Amy's stuck working on a service project with Fiona and preppie know-it-all Preston. When Fiona starts acting super-sweet, Amy wonders if she's being fooled. Fiona doesn't do favors unless she gets something in return--but could it be that she just wants to be Amy's friend?

Editorial Reviews

At the exclusive Allington Academy, Queen of Mean Fiona rules the roost. In the past, seventh grader Amy Flowers has skimmed well below her style-setting classmate's radar, but now for some reason, fierce Fiona is taking a friendly interest in Amy's well-being. Is it too good to be true? A plausible story about popularity and peer pressure.

It's time for Step Out, Allington Academy's annual community service project where every seventh and eleventh grader spends two weeks working for a non-profit organization. Amy Flowers and her friends are all looking forward to it - with Mitchie, Kiwi, and Jenelle working at the Tranquility Garden, and Amy signed up for the Health On The Move Experience, which travels to different elementary schools to teach about health. At least, Amy was looking forward to it, until she found out she was in it with annoying Preston and the Queen of Mean, Fiona. Their supervisor, eleventh grader Anthony, is completely bossy, and Fiona starts off by refusing to do any work. Oddly enough, working with Preston turns out to be one of the best parts of the job, especially when he works with Amy to make "The Healthmobile" lessons a little more interesting. While Amy's friends start bonding over their projects, her own group is floundering, with Fiona fighting them every step of the way. When, after an argument, a surprising experience brings Amy and Fiona together, Amy has to wonder whether Fiona's sudden change of heart is for real...or just another one of her nasty schemes. I haven't read the first two books in this series, but I had no problem falling right into this story and enjoying the characters. They're quirky and real without being stereotypical, and you can easily sense the history between them.

this keepsake of a book, was very interesting. Amy's feelings are slowly revoling around someone new...and Scott is still in the picture, but will he still be by the end of the book? Mitchie's feelings are changing too, does she have a crush on...Kirk? And does Kirk feel the same? Find out in this clever sequel to "Accidentally Famous!"

Accidentally Fooled is about a girl named Amy Flowers who is in a very sticky situation because while her best friends Kiwi and Jenelle are volunteering at a community garden for a seventh grade service project, she's stuck teaching a health class to little kids with the Queen of Mean, Fiona and know-it -all Preston. Now Fiona's acting all nice, but Amy is not willing to let Fiona to fool her. But then Amy listened to Fiona be nice to her for a while, so Amy starts to wonder does Fiona just want Amy's friendship? Ever since Fiona and Jenelle got into a fight Fiona has been very nice to Amy. If you read this book you'll love it so much you will not be able to put it down!!! so start reading!!!
