One ring plus one wild night equals one crazy love

Sherry Robicheaux loves men. She loves love. And she loves an adventure. So when she meets a mysterious man while working backstage at a country music concert in Vegas, she’s all about what’s happened in Vegas staying there.

Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers.

Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a sweet downhome girl.

Meet the Author

Rachel Harris writes humorous love stories about sassy girls-next-door and the hot guys that make them swoon. Emotion, vibrant settings, and strong families are a staple in each of her books...and kissing. Lots of kissing.

A Cajun cowgirl now living in Houston, she firmly believes life's problems can be solved with a hot, sugar-coated beignet or a thick slice of king cake, and that screaming at strangers for cheap, plastic beads is acceptable behavior in certain situations. She homeschools her two beautiful girls and watches way too much Food Network with her amazing husband.

An admitted Diet Mountain Dew addict, she gets through each day by laughing at herself, hugging her kids, and losing herself in story. She writes young adult, new adult, and adult romances, and LOVES talking with readers!

This is the first of Rachel Harris's Bliss-line books I've read, though I have her first two sitting on my kindle pleading with me to start them and after reading this work of brilliance, I don't think I can resist them any longer! The series is less of a following of the same story and more a following of a few of the characters and their romantic adventures, so even without reading the rest of the series this book can be (and was!) thoroughly enjoyed.

I've loved all the books I've read by Rachel Harris and I can't quite put my finger on what is so amazing about her stories, but I can definitely say that the fun in her books plays a big part in their charm. She easily weaves a cute, fun feeling throughout the story and the characters yet still manages to preserve the deeper feelings and revelations in the book.

In Accidentally Married on Purpose we follow the story of Sherry Robicheaux and Tyler Blue. If you've read the first two books in the Love and Games series you will have already met Sherry and from what I've read in this book, you would've loved her too! Sherry's smart, confident and has enough snark to fill up a tour bus, just how I like my leading ladies, and the tension between her and Tyler had me hooked on each and every sentence. Tyler Blue is the new character and the hunk of this story. Not only is he a sexy, successful, country-signing, guitar playing God, he also happens to be sweet and sensitive - just try to resist his charms, I dare you. ;)

The characters are all written with such enjoyable voices that it's almost impossible not to fall in love with every aspect of this book. Though the story is not a new idea, the way it's written makes it feel like it's the first story of its kind. I am thoroughly impressed by this book and could not recommend it highly enough. Rachel Harris is an absolute genius!!

    4.5/5!

This is one of the hardest times I've ever had writing a review.

This is one of the hardest times I've ever had writing a review.  I watched these characters, and their story, grow from outline to final publication.  I saw them change, and grow, into these amazing people, with a beautiful story, not just about falling in love, but about finding themselves, and discovering exactly what they want out of life.

Sherry...I have been waiting for her story since I met her in Taste the Heat!  She's so much fun to be around, and she loves fiercely.  She has an amazing family, but she's starting to feel a little like the 5th wheel.  Her spontaneity and excitement for life make it feel all the more bizarre when she decides it's time to find Mr. Boring and settle down...but not before one last weekend in Vegas to let whatever happens, happen.  Of course, life hasn't always exactly been kind to Sherry either.

Tyler...he just needs to step out of the pages of this book and into MY life!  First of all, who doesn't love a hot, sensitive country music star?!  (And whether Tyler agrees or not, he IS sensitive!)  Despite being a superstar, and one of the sexiest men alive, life hasn't been easy for him either.  I understand why he doesn't really do long-term commitments...but commitment sure looks good on him!

And these two characters together?  Their love is EPIC, whether they realize they are in love or not.  They both know how to have a good time, but they also both are extremely supportive of one another, and can be serious when necessary.  GAH!  I just <3 them both SO HARD!

Of course I can't finish this review without at least MENTIONING the awesome secondary characters!  My favorite tweenager, Emma, is as adorable as ever.  Angelle, who has found herself in a somewhat similar predicament to Sherry's, is the ever-helpful best friend, who brings honesty and insight to Sherry when she needs it most.  And CHARLIE!  *sigh* He's new to this series, but I LOVE him!  He's a real stand-up guy, even if he is still a bit of a ladies man.  If I can't have Tyler, I'd take Charlie in a heartbeat!  (And here's to hoping we get another book with him in it!)

Wow! I fell head-over-heels in love with Tyler Blue and his post

Wow! I fell head-over-heels in love with Tyler Blue and his post-it notes. I sobbed like a baby and loved every teary moment.

I was snagged by the title of this read. This is my first Rachel Harris romance and I am wondering how this is the first time one of her books has crossed my path. I must have been hiding under a rock or something because this author is amazingly talented. Her character development is out of this world. From the blue streaks in Sherry's hair to Tyler's girl, Rachel's characters found their way into my heart. Sherry is so much like me it is not even funny. My streaks are in the front of my face and they are blonde not purple, but the open honesty and sass that Sherry exhibits is what I hope I am achieving in my own persona. Tyler is every girls dream. Not for his stardom, but for what Rachel reveals is his true self. Rachel also tackles breast and ovarian cancer in this read. My best friend died at age 32 of breast cancer, she fought the good fight and this book brought good memories back and also is a good reminder to make sure you go to your check-ups ladies.

Vegas, what happens there does not always stay there. After reading this book, even the thought that Tyler and Sherry were not going to be together is preposterous at best. If two people were ever meant to be together it is Sherry and Tyler. I love that Rachel took parts of a real life event and wrote a story around it. The post-it notes were something that Rachel's husband inspired. Those notes really touched my heart and have inspired me to do the same for someone that I care about. Just letting them know that as each day passes someone is thinking about them is huge. This book is a must read. It is completely worthy of 6-stars. I don't give out very many 6-star reviews. I am still blowing my nose and drying my tears after this read. It has evoked so much emotion that it has earned a 6-star rating. Bravo Mrs. Harris! I will be one-clicking every single book you have ever written after reading Accidentally Married on Purpose.

    A True Love Story

—What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas but it could be a great place to get started. The chemistry between Tyler & Sherry was great as they engaged in funny banter. However, their time together is not without those tear-jerking moments as they were confused about their relationship and the correct path to take. Although their marriage happened too quickly, it was apparent that there was an emotional connection as they spent time together and learned more about each other. The story simply contained the essential elements of a true love story. Rating 5/5 I received an e-arc from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Accidentally Married on Purpose was such a funny and sweet read!

Accidentally Married on Purpose was such a funny and sweet read! I really enjoyed reading Sherry and Tyler's story. It's my first time reading a book by Rachel Harris, and it didn't disappoint.

Sherry Robicheaux's personality is fun and adventurous. She is the “rebel” in her family, and she has done a very good job living up to that expectation. However, in her heart she wants to settle down once and for all. When she is sent to Las Vegas for work, she thinks that she is going to have one last night of fun before she starts her search for Mr. Boring, and settle down. Not knowing that her last night as a rebel is going to change her life forever.

Tyler Blue is thriving in his career as a country music superstar, but with fame comes gossip and he needs to save his public image with the public if he wants to keep his career. He sole purpose is to succeed in his career without having any attachments, in other words, he doesn't plan to settle down or change his life just to please his fans. With his agent and label pressuring him to find the right girl to marry, he finds himself drawn to the outspoken waitress while in one of his Vegas concerts. Their connection is undeniable, but when she doesn't recognize who he is, he decides to take the opportunity to spend his weekend of anonymity without thinking of the consequences. As the two wake up the next morning, they realize what they've done and the decision that they need to make.

The characters' personalities were fun to read. I loved Sherry's sense of humor, but she is in constant worry of what her family thinks of her and her future that she is willing to give up her wild days for the perfect husband. On the other hand, Tyler was just the sweetest character by far, he is caring and his life story really made him that much more likable. He really cares for Sherry and the more time they spend together, the more their relationship starts to develop.

Overall, the story was enjoyable to read. The writing flows and the characters' personalities are spot on. Reading their separate point-of-views really explained why they made the decisions that they made and it was also engaging. The ending/epilogue was my favorite part of the story, it was really sweet and romantic. I highly recommend the book, it's worth picking up.

    Love This Story!!

Book 3 of 3 and I loved it!! Please read these three in order... #1 "Taste the Heat"and #2 "Seven Day Finance" ... Stories of two sisters and a brother and their search for their happy ever after... Wonderfully written love stories without the hot steamy sex scenes... You knew what was happening but didn't need the blow by blow descriptions... Just three great books and an author that I will read again...

Rachel Harris saved the best for last!! Book 3 of the Love and G

Rachel Harris saved the best for last!! Book 3 of the Love and Games series is the best yet! Sherry's a little spitfire but with little to no self confidence where love is concerned. Tyler is a country superstar who's instantly attracted to her. A little booze, an Elvis impersonator and a wild night later, they're married...and that's just the beginning!
I loved Tyler and Sherry together, they balance each other out. I don't often love both hero and heroine right from page one, but I did with these two! I didn't want it to end...in fact, I already read it twice :)
Read it, you won't be sorry! But read the first 2 also!

I love Rachel Harris and her Love and Games Series is of my favo

I love Rachel Harris and her Love and Games Series is of my favorites.  I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the Robicheaux family and love all things New Orleans that are such a big part of this series.  I have also been especially excited to read the youngest of the Robicheaux family's story - Sherry Robicheaux - the wild child of the bunch.  Not only is Sherry a wild child, she has a heart as big as Texas.  After constantly picking the wrong guy, Sherry resolves to find her "Mr. Boring," the safe guy that she can settle down with, but not before she has one last fling in Las Vegas while she is there to work a backstage catering event at a country music concert.  Tyler Blue is a rising star in the country music world and would love nothing more than to just be normal for a while, weary of the pressures of the media, the public, and his agent.  When he meets Sherry backstage before his concert, he soon realizes she doesn't have a clue who he is.  After a wild weekend they awaken to find out there's been a wedding, and it happens to be theirs.
His agent wants him to continue the marriage, because it is just what he needs to boost his career, but can he convince Sherry to go along, and can Sherry agree to the ruse without losing her heart in the process?

I loved Sherry's character so much.  Her personality just bubbles over from the pages and and you can't help but smile while reading this book.  Tyler Blue is a hottie to, and I loved him as well, from his smile, to his songs, and mostly his post-it notes (you'll have to read the story to find out what that's about).  Watching their relationship develop during the course of the book was delightfully entertaining and kept me thoroughly engrossed from beginning to end.  The chemistry between them is through the roof, and despite Sherry's "rules" that she put in place to protect her heart, they have a really hard time separating the real from the pretend, resulting in some blurring of the lines making things not as black and white as they originally intended.  Accidentally Married on Purpose is fun, entertaining, romantic, humorous, and everything you could ask for in a contemporary romance.  I loved it and definitely recommend checking it out.

I love married while drunk romances. I love a couple being stuck with each other and getting to know each other.

I liked the hero of this book a bit. I could tell that he really did need an escape from his fame.  However, when it came to really just being with someone he elected to show off his wealth (though claiming it was favors) instead so then we didn't really get to know him.

I never settled into liking the heroine. I found her plan for one last fling before settling down  with a "normal guy" debasing to "normal guys" a bit and nothing she did ever got me past this feeling.

This book didn't work for me. It might work better for you.

I was given this book for my honest review. So, there you have it.

This is the story of Sherry Robicheux and Tyler Blue. She wants one last fling before settling down and searching for a safe, boring man to spend forever with. He wants a night with a beautiful woman that doesn't know who he's a huge country music star. They find each other and have that crazy anonymous night in Las Vegas, but what happens when they wake up with matching hangovers and wedding rings?

This is an amazingly sweet, fun, and sexy romance. I really felt bad for Sherry. She is so unlucky in love, it breaks her heart and mine! Sherry and Tyler have fantastic chemistry and despite how different they are from each other, in every way, they really mesh well.

This is book three in the Love and Games Series. It's a feel good romance that's perfect for weekend reading or any time you want the satisfaction of reading a really good HEA.

Rating 4 1/2  I have to say that Accidentally Married on Purpose

    Rating 4 1/2
I have to say that Accidentally Married on Purpose is a cute book. I completely enjoyed the story. I mean who doesn't love a story that has a couple having a drunk wedding in Vegas. Right there is like an automatic read to me. The challenge is how are they going to make it work. I actually love the fact that Tyler's publicist pushed to keep his marriage going for a little while. So, Tyler and Sherry put on a show for everyone, but of course they start to fall in love. Yes, no one wants to omit to falling in love first.

Honestly, I didn't see Sherry as a wild child, but her exuberance tends to gets her into trouble. I actually love one of her description:
"That girl's heart is bigger than Texas." Her eyes narrowed. "And it's as tender as a baby's butt."
She does have a big heart if she was willing to keep up the charade for Tyler. Sherry truly tried to guard her heart, but it's hard when the guy is a charmer. I like that Tyler was trying to curb is himbo image, and what perfect way than to stay married. I like once you saw how his layers starting to peel, we see that he's a great guy.

Honestly, I thought story was a lot fun to read. I mean it had me chuckling at times, but towards the end it got me choked up. Seriously, I had tears streaming done my face. I know I'm a sap for the sappiness.  However, I think my favorite part of the story Tyler's epiphany, and it all stems from the wedding. So, if you are looking for that book that will having you laughing and possibly crying (remember I'm a sap), you might want to give Accidentally Married on Purpose a go.

Sherry Robicheaux wants one memorable fling before she finds and marries Mr. Boring. She is in Las Vegas to oversee a catering job for her family. While she is there she meets a very sexy man. The sparks fly and they have a romantic tryst. When she wakes up, Sherry finds that she is married to a country music superstar, Tyler Blue. What happens next will have you alternately sighing and laughing. Rachel Harris has written a sexually charged story that has heart. The witty banter and clever writing kept me reading. I love Sherry and her "Music Man". They are dynamite together. Their chemistry and passion made me swoon. There is a stellar cast of secondary characters that add depth to the story. Magnolia Springs and her people add atmosphere to this passionate romance. Rachel Harris has a wonderful romantic touch. This story is perfect summertime treat.
