Mimi Jean Pamfiloff has done it again. ACCIDENTALLY IN LOVE WITH…A GOD? is her first book in the Accidentally Yours Series. Terrific. ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED TO…A VAMPIRE? is the second novel, and like the first, it is steamy, romantic, fast-paced, and laugh-out-loud funny. In this book, we have a new heroine, Helena. She is an evolutionary biologist on vacation in Bacalar, Southern Mexico. She misses her bus and is stuck in a Mayan jungle on a dark, lonely road. Suddenly, she is drawn to a voice calling to her. With great trepidation, she follows the voice into the jungle. There she finds . . . . Well, our normal girl from Santa Cruz, California, gets involved with some bizarre people . . . scratch that . . . immortals, through no choice of her own. We are treated again to the hysterically funny Cimil, Goddess of the Underworld. I love Cimil. She is afraid of bugs, adores a good bargain (especially garages sales), loves the color pink, and has the ability to see all possible outcomes of the future. She is dangerous and has more than a few screws loose. Then there is Niccolo DiConti, who is our incredible vampire. He is called the Executioner, General of the Vampire Queen's army. And there is the cruel and crazy Reyna, the Vampire Queen. Last, but not least, there is sexy Andrus, a dangerous Demilord. Both Niccolo and Andrus are in love with Helena, and they are not about to let her go. So, how does a mortal get away from all of these immortal, fearsome creatures? Especially when she is not really sure she wants to? Accidentally getting married to a vampire is one thing. It is another thing when the vampire in question is dangerous, drop-dead gorgeous, and has her completely mesmerized. So how do you get a divorce from said vampire when there is some kind of cosmic bond holding you to him? Have fun.

I don't even remember how I found this book but I thought what can go wrong for $1... and now I actually feel bad for having only paid that much for such a hilarious book! The least I can do is give it a good review and buy the other ones in the series which I most definitely will. The book is honestly laugh out loud funny. The characters are well developed and the romance is steamy... what more do you need? Maybe I should complain about the mentioning of Were-Smurfs because I couldn't stop laughing for the next half hour but I survived. I also loved that the funny quirks are totally out of the blue and never forced. Altogether very refreshing and tremendously entertaining!

The only author I have found who can make my laugh on one page just to sniffle on the very next page. With the added bonus ( ? ) of getting an old 80's song stuck in my head for an entire day from one paragraph! (Don't let that dissuade you, it's actually enjoyable. And makes people thinking you're either extremely happy or crazy as a goddess!)

Wow...what a fantastic book! I bought this after reading the others' reviews... I am a lover of paranormal romance and figured I couldn't go wrong with a $1 book. I stayed up until 2 a.m. the next morning reading!! Like another commenter sad...after reading this book I cannot BELIEVE I only paid $1 for it!! This book far exceeded my expectations. So funny, yet so passionate. The writing was refreshingly mature and steamy. The characters were so easy to fall in love with! Halfway through this book, I clicked right back to the Nook store and bought book one- and I can guarantee I'll be buying subsequent books by this author. I am a huge 'endings' person with books...and I absolutely LOVED the way this book ended. I've recommended this series to some of my fellow paranormal-loving mom friends on my moms' group website as well. :)

And we have another WINNER!! Mimi Jean Pamfiloff doesn't fail when it comes to a well-crafted tale that will have you running the gamut of emotions! Just don't try reading this one anywhere that the ocassional guffaw or sniffle will reward you with strange looks... because you will find yourself doing both! Thank you, Mimi! I'm looking forward to book three, because as another reviewer here has also said... I'm now a lifelong fan!

Humor and quirky sense of plot development makes for a delightful read without the usual reliance on steamy scenes to carry the paranormal love story. Can't wait for the next one!

Just a great book that does its job, to take the reader away...... To another place. another time, another reality. Isnt that what we really want? To be swept away from our own lives for just a little while. Just like a tiny e-reader vacation. How wonderful!!!!!!!

I don't even want to spend the to review this book. But here u go. If you are 12 you may enjoy this book as it is very simplistic in dialog and plot.....i mean really simplistic and not realistic at all. I finished the book because i never leave a book unfinished but seriously i could have watched football and gained just as much entertainment (i hate football). I felt like ihad to dumb my self down to finish it.

I do like this though it really feels alot like the Immortals after Dark series by Kresley Cole. Cimil just oozes Nix. Some things felt so similar it became irritating. As with the first book there were some issues with information suddenly being known without knowing where it came from, and the characters taking it as fact without question or explanation. Many typos and grammatical errors but I wont whine about that in a 99 cent book. The stories are pretty funny and when it got going and I wasnt distracted by the previous issues I enjoyed it.

This series was an "accidental" find. And it turned out to be a winner.....another case of, 1st book rocked it & 2nd book rocked it harder. I really love paranormal romance & this was yet another glimpse at another perspective of vampires. You come to a point where you wonder how can there be ANOTHER vampire book thats.....different? Well here it is! Fast paced, edgy till the end! Loved it

There were so many crazy turns in this. Every time I thought I had something figured out the direction changed. "Aunt Cimil" is a total nut and I loved her. This book made me laugh. I am going back to get the 1st book in the series and look forward to the 3rd later this yeat.
