About the Author

Katerina Bodovski is Associate Professor of Education in the Department of Education Policy Studies at the Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Bodovski received her master’s in sociology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, and her PhD in sociology from the Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests lie in the intersection of sociology of education and comparative international education. She has published extensively in leading peer-reviewed journals and is a recipient of several prestigious research grants, including funding from the American Education Research Association, Foundation for Child Development, and National Science Foundation.
