Overview

Nick and Alex have made a very successful movie together. Now they need to decide whether their next project is another joint venture or they go their separate ways creatively. Then the perfect manuscript arrives, offering financial security and future opportunities.

For Nick, the film is his dream: amazing effects, wonderful script, a part every actor aspires to play, and a director everyone’s begging to work with. There’s one snag: Nick and Alex will have to get to rather personal on set.

He has to refuse even though Alex isn’t willing to take no for an answer, and sets out to talk Nick into it. Nick finally agrees, despite a nosy reporter and his brother turning against him. After all, it’s just pretence. It’s not as if he’s gay and wants to make out with his friend...not until Alex kisses him. Then life gets even more complicated and interesting.

Meet the Author

Sharon was born in London on New Year’s Eve. When not tap-dancing her way round an office, she followed many creative pursuits. Eventually her love of books, and a wild imagination compelled her to focus on writing. The first short story she submitted — Silver Apples of the Moon — was accepted by Roadworks Magazine. It was described as having “both a Sci-fi and horror element,” and being “strong on characterisation, and quite literary, in terms of style.” With a repertoire of twisted tales and a love of cross-genre writing, it surprised everyone (including herself) when she branched out into erotic romance. These works have been critically acclaimed and often described as “deeply passionate”. Sharon’s worlds are vivid, unexpected and sometimes intensely magical.
Sharon writes whatever her warped mind can come up with. Although her longer works to date mostly involve a variety of wonderful men finding true love…or at least some loving, she’s quite capable of writing something darker, grittier, and even outright twisted. Her work has appeared in a variety of publications both in print and electronic formats. She has stories in a number of magazines and with Untreed Reads, and writes regularly for Musa Publishing, Changeling Press, and Loose-id.
She currently lives in a house with a few art-deco original features and a Harry Potter cupboard under the stairs. Watch one of the films — that’s her cupboard. Sometimes she even dreams of clearing it out and hiding away in there, seeking some magic and inspiration.
