Since this book was written as a teacher's guide and is designed to enable students to make movies, it lays out the whole process in an easy to understand format. Anyone could use this resource alone and be led through the steps required to make a complete video, from the screen play, to casting, filming, computer editing, and adding sound and special effects. Easy to understand illustrations show you how to connect the video camera to the computer, and what software to buy. I literally went from not knowing how to operate a video camera to finishing a movie starring my children and grandchildren in one rainy weekend!!
