    Acupuncture review

I find that the book contains many helpful diagrams and techniques, yet failed to provided some of the theory behind acupuncture and some of the more in depth concepts relating to acupuncture and acupressure. The set-up of catagorizing the aliments and pain areas was a good idea, yet the actual 'step-by-step' techniques described are difficult to follow along with some inconsitent directions of how to apply the techniques. Overall, I would not recommend this book if you have no prior knowledge of acupuncture or its basic concepts. For those interested in purchasing a book of acupressure or acupuncture, try to find out if the author of the book is a licenced acupuncturist, or holds a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. From reading this book, (the back cover and the authors description of himself within the book) the individual seemed to hold many degrees in many other areas of medicine, but none relating to the acupuncture specifically or Chinese medicine, from which acupuncture stems from.
