I enjoyed the heated romance as well as the tension filled confrontations between Adam and Eva. Also enjoyed the developing relationship between Eva and Diane and the way Eva helped Adam better relate to his daughter. The book was definitely a page turner. The story had me from the first page and didn't let go until I hit the last page. Another good book from Sandra Kitt.

I liked the authors ability to tell stories, but it wasn't a favorite. The relationship between Eva and Diane was sweet. I didn't like how mean Maxwell was to Eva. Probably won't read again.

I read this book in a day. Real good romance and the play on his and her relationship is cute. I also like her relationship with the daughter.

This is my second time to read this story. The first time was the paperback. It still holds up as a good story, with two damaged people. Eva had to deal with the loss of her husband and child, Adam with the loss of a marriage and not having his daughter with him but once a year. Eva's vacation turns into an adventure, with the Virgin Islands as the backdrop. She begins to recover from her loss and finds love, and a surrogate daughter. She helps Adam to reconnect with his ten year old daughter, and is drawn to him in spite of his snap judgements and distant and irrascible personality.

It was simply great. I couldn't stop reading it. I'm from the Virgin islands and the details brought me right back home. I just loved it!
