Editorial Reviews

Each title in this series is lavishly illustrated and includes research questions. There is not a lot of detail present, but rather an attempt to cover a fairly broad area quickly, and in a fashion that will catch the attention of middle school students. Since these topics are often covered in middle school science classes, this series is likely to be a good addition to the library. However, The Future of Life on Earth and Behavior in Living Things make some statements without supporting facts. I’d suggest adding some other titles for balance. Bibliography. Glossary. Websites.
