THE best book on addiction/recovery, nutrition and overall health I have EVER read!

I'm a wife and mother of 3. I spend a lot of time studying nutrition. My husband is 5yrs clean and sober and getting his PhD to be a substance abuse counselor. Together, we hope to someday have a treatment center based on THIS book that focuses on nutrition for acheiving long term recovery along with physical and mental well-being. BUT WAIT!! This book is NOT just another book about how to get clean and sober! I have read MANY books on the topic of nutrition, everything from raw/vegan and vegetarian studies and opinions to the works of The Weston A. Price Foundation and while I respect many authors such as for their OPINIONS on diet... Pam Killen has my utmost respect for not just giving her "opinion" of what should be done, but SHOWS you in a very comprehensive way of WHY we should do it! She gives resources for every stat in the book. She has no hidden agenda, she just puts it out there without any manipulation and THAT is only one reason why I love this book so much! If you or anyone you know is suffering from addiction, chronic illness and / or mood disorders then this is a **MUST read!** If your child has been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD or bi-polar, then this is a **MUST MUST read!** If you want to stop smoking... **MUST READ!** If you don't understand why you cannot lose weight or why you feel so depressed even though your following a low-fat 1200 calorie diet and exercising, READ THIS BOOK! I wish I could afford to buy a copy for everyone on the planet... I think it's THAT important for EVERYONE to *******READ THIS BOOK!******** I will use it as a reference tool over and over, as will my husband!
