Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
Gr 4-8-In this slim title, Pigache acquaints readers with the history, symptoms, causes, treatments, and research on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Behaviors associated with it are also precisely described. The well-organized information provides a good overview and a hopeful outlook. Although similar in scope to Trudi Strain Trueit's ADHD (Watts, 2004), Pigache's work incorporates photographs of children of a variety of ethnicities; these illustrations, while not particularly informative, are suitably integrated with the text. This volume would be useful for reports and for readers wanting to know more about ADHD for personal reasons.-Lynn K.
