This is a great starting book for anyone who wishes to understand how a website editing program works. This is the book you want to start with if someone wishes to use Dreamweaver to build their own website.
The subject matter is quite clear and does not move too fast. This allows for complete absorption of the material covered. You won't need any outside instruction with this book.
You will learn the basics from this book!
The only caveat is that the book is based off of the PC version of Dreamweaver cs4, if you use an Apple computer, you will need to fish around for some of the operations -- but it isn't bad at all. The information is clear enough to find and understand what you are doing.
