When you're ready to roll up your sleeves and start taking advantage of GoLive cs' powerful site management and collaboration capabilities, wireless authoring features, and dynamic database tools, it's time to get the guide from the people behind the software. In these pages, The Adobe Creative Team uses a series of project-based lessons to guide you through every aspect of GoLive's use. Working at your own pace, using training materials created and tested in Adobe's own classrooms and labs, you'll soon be creating effective, efficient Web sites with GoLive cs. Step-by-step instructions clearly detail toolbars, palettes, site architecture, Cascading Style Sheets, image maps, and more. And plenty of attention has been paid to GoLive cs' new features as well: enhanced Smart Object capabilities, advanced CSS authoring and previewing, streamlined print-to-Web production, and more. Each chapter concludes with a review section to reinforce what you've learned, and a CD-ROM provides the files and images needed to complete the exercises.

I read the above reviews before I bought this book and was very worried. But, since it is the only book available right now that teaches Golive CS I ended up getting it. I've been through the first two lessons now and haven't come across a single error. Sure, the book could be laid out better and a lot clearer, but the main problems I've had have either to do with my computer (slow) or the program itself. This book is fine. It's not great, but it does the job. The lessons take me longer to complete than the book indicates, but that has more to do with the fact that I'm a complete novice when it comes to this program. A good working knowledge of Adobe environments is really important for this book to be effective since it can be confusing which palette they are referring to each time and sometimes you simply have to work out a problem yourself (wouldn't call these 'errors' in the book...more like omitted information). But all in all, the book is working for me.
I recently purchased the big three of the Adobe CIAB series (PhotoShop CS, Illustrator CS and GoLive CS). I sat down and attempted to follow lesson number one. More than an hour later (the predicted time to complete this lesson), I was ready to tear my hair out. There are numberous errors that make following the lesson nearly impossible.
It's plenty of errors, absolutly unusable.
