eBook Format is NOT a Good Platform for Tutorial, Reference, or Guide Books

As with any graphic-intensive reference eBook on any eBook platform, this book runs very slowly. Regardless of the platform I use computer application, Nook, or other digital reader, this book is excruciatingly slow when changing pages and the pages are small, which makes it very frustrating to use as a reference or tutorial guide.

The content is good; Steve Johnson (the author) clearly knows Adobe InDesign and provides useful instruction on the basics of InDesign. However, eBook is not a practical media format to use for an instructional or tutorial reference guide, especially when the eReaders are slow and don’t provide an easy-to-use format.

eReaders are designed specifically for reading books and not useful with reference or guide books. I find this to be the case with EVERY reference book I have purchased in eBook format.
