    I Also Recommend:

I love classroom in a book.

I highly suggest to get this book online because it was about $22 cheaper then getting it in the store.
Anyway I got this book in the mail and instantly began to read, it was so clear and the CD that comes with the book is by far the most useful thing. You can have the option to learn from videos or go step by step using the book as a guide. The book is so amazing, I love it that it literally goes over everything! I plan on mastering this program and I have a huge feeling that this book is going to help me a lot!

This e-test book does NOT have text-to-speech capabilities

I bought this e-test book because I was told that it had text-to-speech capabilities which would make learning Photoshop CS5 easier. This e-text book does NOT have this feature. I now own both an e-text and hard copy versions of this book which is a waste of money. The video bonus tutorials only cover four topics and don't really help you with learning the Photoshop tools or lessons. Like most text books, the authors of this book assume that the student knows more than they do and sometimes skips steps or does not explain how to use a Photoshop tool in simple terms... I have learned that before publishing any instructions, the author needs to give "the instructions" to someone who does not knows anything about the subject, so the author can see if that person can understand and follow the directions.

    Not what it promised

Even though it says it includes a printed text that comes with a lesson dvd and access to an online lab, it does not. May help if you purchase the rest from the store, but the e text alone is no good without the disk. I was also upset that it said it was all inclusive when it clearly was not after confirming with customer service. Can we say false advertisement & grosely over priced for what it was.
