    Nightthorn

Nightthorn slowly ate the rabbit, savoring it, he hadn't eaten like this for a long while. "Thanks," He mumbled through a mouthful. After he was done eating, he washed his whiskers. (My dog has a nervous licking problem. If he lick for a long time, he throws up. I just had to clean up his barf AND his poop. Talk about double yuck. I had to clwan the cat box this morning too. My day is full of bad luck!)

Elements 4 50 Ways to Make Cool Pictures

Book review on Elements 4, 50 Ways to make Cool Pictures, by Dave Huss published by Peachpit Press. Rating 5 stars. Although this book was written primarily for the Windows user, it can also be used on the Macintosh. There are some command keys needing to be changed for the Mac as you read and follow the examples. I also have the same title for Elements 3. Of course there is some repetition but as there have been several critical changes made in Elements 4, this book despite its windows writing has a definite place in a Mac users reference library. The main changes are, 1. Automatic adjustment for skin tone, 2. Magic Extractor, which can completely remove a photos background with just a few clicks, 3.Automatic red eye removal, 4. Straighten, should you have a photo with incorrect alignment of an object, ( photo taken from moving vehicle) the object can easily be straightened. The usual features of replacing backgrounds with your choosing, (clouds, other backgrounds, etc). As not everything is the same I will keep the Elements 3 book and make this one an addition to my reference library. In this way I have many different lessons covered as many things in elements 4 have not changed from elements 3. As far as the program goes I have upgraded to version 4 and highly make the recommendation to the upgrade for it¿s new features. Marty Grauer, Fresno Macintosh Users Group.
