    Reviewed by Jaglvr for TeensReadToo.com

    I have to admit, the IT GIRL series is one of those guilty pleasures that I have. I can't help myself when I know another release is forthcoming. So, I eagerly sat myself down the other night when I had ADORED, the eighth installment in the series, in my hands.

    The crew has returned from Thanksgiving break and has to buckle down to get ready for finals. As with all the books in the series, ADORED only covers a couple of weeks in the lives of the gang at Waverly. All the players are back, and they've all got drama going on.

    Callie is recently single, after having broken things off with Easy in INFAMOUS. She's on the prowl for a new beau, but it seems that the pickings are slim at Waverly. Everything changes when she spies an unknown hottie in the cafeteria.

    Tinsley is back together with Julian, thanks to Yvonne Stidder's party in New York City. But now Tinsley has nagging thoughts that Julian may have lost his virginity already. He's only a freshman! And all Tinsley can do is picture Julian with...Jenny!

    Jenny has become a small celebrity on campus. A group of freshman girls are filming her for a documentary for their class. The freshmen want to see how someone in the "in" crowd lives. But having a camera in her face at all hours is turning into a nightmare.

    Brett is spreading herself too thin. After the senior prefect goes missing in action, the faculty comes to Brett and "asks" her to spearhead the Secret Santa program. And then, as if that wasn't enough, she gets suckered into organizing the Holiday Ball. How is she going to fit in studying for finals on top of those responsibilities?

    And, as always, Heath Ferro is up to his old tricks. He's taken the Secret Santa and turned it into a Secret Satan event. The campus has gone crazy with dirty and sexy gifts rather than the old traditional ones. And let's just say that when a cop turns up in a classroom, emotions are going to boil over! {I laughed out loud at the crazy presents poor Brandon Buchanan receives!}

    ADORED does not disappoint in all the craziness, mayhem, and hi-jinx that we have come to love. There was definitely some laugh-out-loud moments with this installment! With some of the content in this one, the age 15 and up notation on the back of the cover is a good guide.

    Barnes and Noble needs to get their act together.

    It is RIDICULOUS that this is still not available in ebook even though every other book in this series is. INCLUDING THE ONES RELEASED AFTER IT!

    More drama at Waverly Academy

    Cecily von Ziegesar has given us another great installment of The It Girl!! You knew that sweet Little Jenny could not keep herself from getting into more tangles with Tinsley and Callie, and she does right from the start. Seems Little J has a group of freshman film students wanting to film her every move for a documentary on popular girls. But that isn't making her blend into the students at Waverly any more than dating Easy Walsh did in the earlier books. Also, overachieving Brett is taking on planning the Waverly Secret Santa duties(as if studying for finals and getting ready for the SAT's wasn't enough), but she takes it on, hoping to make a huge impression on the director of admissions at Brown University. But that all comes apart when someone else decides against Secret Santa and turns it in to Secret Satan...where all the gifts are raunchy and turns the Christmas celebration into a raucous event. Can Jenny keep her film crew and fame from ruining her already dodgy reputation at Waverly? Is there anyone else who can deliver an ending that makes you crave the next book? Cecily is the author to do it

    Absoultley Amazing

    I loved it. I finished it one day! It was so good i couldn't put it down. I loved the Secret Santa/Secret Satan exchange. So funny! I wish there was a little more about Casey and Jenny's relationship, but everybody else's relationship was awesome. Im glad that Tinsley and Julian are together. Though something about Julian suprised me. Im happy that Brett and Sabastian are finally together even though Sabastian is a little cocky. But i absoultley loved it and can't wait for the next one.

    Cecily has done it again!!

    After reading this newest addition to the It Girl Series, I'm on my toes waiting to snatch up the next one! I'm so excited to see what she does with these characters. I loved the plot behind the beginning, how little J enters this whole new school filled with hot sex-feaned boys like Heath Ferro, or romantic artsy Easy Walsh, and (the girls) Brett, Callie, Kara, and Tinsley that will befriend her and do anything to destroy her. I was happy with this book, there was some surprises and I miss Easy, but Callie learns in this book how to try to forget the one she loved and move on. Brett opens herself up to someone she never imagined she would, and Tinsley gets jealous of Jenny....again.

    CAN'T WAIT

    So, if Easy doesn't get a better part in this one I'm gonna be really mad becasue I thought it would have been cool to see how he was doing in military school but whatever. Can't wait to see what Julian's dark little secret is... this is gonna be GREAT.
