Excellent Book from a Credible Expert

James Wilson has outdone himself with 'Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Century Syndrome!' Adrenal fatigue is very common in our society today because everyone experiences some degree of physical, chemical, or emotional stress on a daily basis. From the time you wake up in the morning to the loud and startling alarm clock, when you drive in traffic, when you have deadlines to meet at work, etc., the adenal glands become overstressed. This book provides a comprehensive guide to recovering from adrenal fatigue and is written in an easy-to-read format. While other health-related books can cross the line from insightful to pedantic, Dr. Wilson manages to provide impactful and practical information without overwhelming the reader with technical jargon or abstract medical theory. I really enjoyed the fact that this book contains specific information about which therapies work and exactly what you can do to help yourself feel energized and well again! Needless to say, I recommend this book to everyone since we all experience stress in one form or another. - Dr. Matthew J. Loop (Author of 'Cracking the Cancer Code')

Read this book if you have low energy and do not enjoy life

Wish my doctor recommended this book to me when I was diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue this year. This book is a life saver. I finally have a name to put to my illness. At least it is treatable. The book helps you to understand how your adrenal function affects your everyday life; what causes adrenal fatigue; who suffers from it; signs and symptoms; why medicine has not recognized adrenal fatigue; how you got this way; tests for adrenal fatigue; helping yourself back to recovery.

    I Also Recommend:

This was like reading my life story!!

I have been suffering from fatigue, muscle pain, and having difficulty waking up in the morning. I went to my doctor - they ran a few blood tests, said I was fine, and offered me an antidepressant. I knew there was more to it, so I got this book and it was exactly what I was going through. My favorite part is the diagnostic section with a detailed questionnaire. I was able to see that I've had mild adrenal fatigue since high school and it has progressed to moderate/almost severe since I had my children. The book gives very specific recommendations to help, and I like the way it's written, not dumbed-down but not overly technical. One thing you should know is there's no magic pill to fix this, but a lot of changing what you eat, taking the correct supplements, and changing how you think about and deal with stress in your life. It's totally worth it, though!

The Best resource for Adrenal/Thyroid issues

I have been involved in the Natural Health industry for over 18 years and have read every book out there on this topic. This is truly the most comprehensive book on the subject. Dr. Wilson has given every option and solution and explained things in easy to understand terms. This book helped me get back on my feet after years of doctors and going all over the country for answers. And that is a very big statement!

A Must-Read for Those Suffering from Adrenal Fatigue

Dr. Wilson's "Adrenal Fatigue" is the book all others on this syndrome are compared to. More people than suspected have adrenal fatigue to some extent because our fast-paced, stressful world forces us to live at a pace our adrenal glands cannot endure over time. Dr. Wilson not only tells us how it occurs, but he also shows us a way out and encourages us along the way. It can be overcome! Once we learn to manage stress and time, eat right, and get the proper amount of sleep each night, we can beat adrenal fatigue and live normal lives once again. This book is required reading for anyone who is constantly tired, strung out on caffeine, bouncing on sugar highs and lows, and hurting from too much stress.

It is about time a Doctor gets this information out to the public!

I have suffered from adrenal exhustion back in the early 1990's. I could not find any help from any regular doctor. This book has all the answers i was looking for back then. I am very pelased and excited that there is now a book that you can read or get facts from to help your self.

i ended up with a herbalist and Homeopaathic doctor to help me back then. As i was reading the book, i was amazed at all the great information that any regular person can follow and help them heal them selves.

it is about time that adrenal fatigue is recognized, and needs to be available to the docotor's who have no idea it is a real chemical condition that is effecting a large number of their patients.

I followed the program and was able to easily purchase products that are now complete to take care of my health, and not with the money hungry presciptions that uninformed doctors give to their patients.

it is time to have this information and educate the public at large about this, and let them know it is not in their heads, this is a real problem with masses of our population. this is such good reading, and also very easy to follow and understand. I hope more people buy the book or read it and then get this information the doctors and teach them.

Some might call this cutting edge info, i myself have been looking for books that help deal with adrenal problems... this is the one hot book that i have told all my friends they need to buy.

it is along the same lines as the new books on menopause, the old ways did not work and still do not work, open your eyes and do reasearch and support the people who get this information out to the public..

we have to be responsible for our own health, and that included letting doctors know we are armed with information that they can not longer ignore.

i ahve purchased a copy for my doctor, and will then test him on what he knows, this is great, i am very excited!! there is light at the end of my tunnel.... thank you Dr James Wilson for this great book!!

    Doc in a Book

Tens of thousands of dollars in medical tests, specialist after specialist with no results. (No wonder our medical establishment is in crisis.) This was my suspicion all along, but I didn't know what to call it and no one would believe it until I found this book. Adrenal fatigue is real, but the pharma-medical establishment stands nothing to gain from this diagnosis. This book offers the outline to understanding the stress-related breakdown of the body and a path to eventual wellness without deleterious side effects, be forewarned it does not promise a quick fix.

    So helpful....

I have battled so many health issues in the last 20 years. Finally I went and had a saliva test at a compound pharmacy. Not really a fan of the test but what it showed was I suffered from Adrenal Fatigue... severly. In the danger zone of having some reaally bad issues. I bought this book and it was so eye opening. I feel this book was really for me. It made me fully understand why I was going thru so much stuff and what I can do to make my life better.

    Extremely helpful; very readable

This book helped me understand my own Adrenal Fatigue and how to cope with it on a day to day basis. I have given it to friends and family who also have this issue.

Loads of Info - but the epub is DRM protected

The sample is full of very good information, but when I purchased the eBook, it would not read on my laptop (or iPad) Nook app because it is a DRM file, and apparently can only be read on an actual Nook. I even downloaded the Adobe reader, and the error message is the same. I could convert the file (and remove the DRM) but the software to do that costs more than the book...not worth it.

I sent an email to customer support a month ago, and no luck in getting my refund (yet..).

Awesome book - just wish it wasn't DRM protected cuz I can't read beyond the sample given.

I liked the book a lot and it really helped a friend of mine. Another one that is a little more up to date is also good: Are You Tired & Wired by Marcelle Pick.

    Hello

Okay, so the reviews for James Wilson's book Adrenal Symptoms and Dr Marianne's book are bleeding together and showing up on both books' review sites. Nook needs some maintainence.

This book is amazing! Like so many of the other comments from readers, this has been a long time coming, and our "medical" profession has no clue!!! What started out as a consultation visit with a bio-identical hormone doctor (finished menopause and was experiencing difficult symptoms), turned a whole different direction when she advised me that my "symptoms" were typical of adrenal fatigue and NOT menopausal at al! She lent me this book from her in-office patient library, and there was "my story" in the pages of this book!! I'm now working with this amazing doctor, who left 25 years of "traditional medicine" and surgery, to dedicated herself to helping men and women with adrenal fatigue and other hormonal issues. I have since referred the book to three close friends and relatives, and each of us has seen ourselves, our symptoms and our story in this book. So while I'm almost finished reading the copy my doctor lent me, I'm ordering one for my own library for future reference!!! Thank you Dr. James Wilson for your dedication and courage to bring this to light!

Good reading before visiting your doctor

I read this before visiting with my doctor, and it helped begin a dialog and path to researching possible solutions to my long-lived health problems.

My only regret is getting this as an eBook. That makes it very hard to fill out the questionairs or quickly look back at something. The good old hard copy is the best way to go if it's a self help type book.

    Life changing information

Very informative book that everyone should read. It is very probable
that most people out there may have a mild to severe form of adrenal fatigue and not know it.
