I like this book. It is a good read and I learned some great mathematics. The book emphasises the key areas of mathematics, such as Trigonometry and discrete mathematics, and provides a solid introduction to Calculus. Integrated technology lessons and examples incorporated the use of calculator and computer to enhance learning. Raal-world applidcations, and manageable lessons, examples and exercises make mathematics approachable. Thank you!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. This book is no good! It hardly tells how to do anything at all. The examples are horrible too. They use examples that are not even related to the problems in the book. The explanations don't help to understand any better. And if this company also makes the tests and quizzes to go along with this book, they're horrible at that too because the tests and quizzes are completely different from what you learn in the book! Teachers shouldn't choose this book because it's difficult to understand and it isn't very helpful in helping the student learn. And I didn't know it was a college book, I thought it was for high school. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
