Features: The book offers indications, contraindications, alternative treatments, techniques, results, and tips for most shoulder conditions that require surgery. The best part of the book is the consistent presentation despite different contributors and the comprehensiveness of the procedures described including relatively rare or significantly difficult operations.
Assessment: This is the best surgical text for shoulder reconstruction in terms of comprehensiveness (topics covered) and consistency of chapters, as well as the fact that it is relatively current. The authors and editors are to be commended.
