Overview

Do you want to publish a children's book or other full-color book?

This book is for you! Publishing industry insider and CEO Brent Sampson reveals the step-by-step process for publishing a full-color book quickly, conveniently, and affordably. Adventures in Publishing is a “how-to” book written in a unique and charming children's book style, complete with gorgeous full-color illustrations.

Speaking of illustrations, do you need some? Adventures in Publishing shows you how to add award-winning custom illustrations to your full-color books for less money than you might think, and without having to split royalties with the artist. Custom, full-color illustrations starting at $100 each? It's possible, and Adventures in Publishing shows you how. If you've looked around for illustrations on your own, you already know how amazing that is!

Hi, I'm the author, Brent Sampson. Are you holding a manuscript in your hand that you wish was a published children's storybook with original, full-color illustrations? Or do you want to publish a full-color cookbook or art book? In any case, if you dream of publishing in full-color, Adventures in Publishing will help you.

As the president and CEO of Outskirts Press, and the published author of a children's book myself, I have experienced first-hand the frustrations that many authors face when attempting to publish a full-color book. Usually, their dreams stall with either the up-front printing costs or the professional illustrations. Finding talented AND affordable artists is nearly impossible, and many want to split your royalties with you, which costs even more in the long run. I have met other writers whose dreams have expired when they discover the up-front printing costs. Warning: Full-color printing can be EXPENSIVE if you do it wrong. Save yourself from making a $10,000 mistake!

There is a better, faster, more affordable way to experience full-service custom book publishing. If you need full-color original artwork, this book will show you how to find many unique styles to choose from, and you don't have to worry about sharing your royalties with the artist. Get exactly what you want without having to compromise on quality!

Speaking of quality, Adventures in Publishing serves as an example of the high-quality publishing, printing, binding, and illustrations you will receive when enjoying fast, convenient, and affordable self-publishing services. Yes! Your book can look this good and be available worldwide on Amazon and Barnes & Noble websites (plus many others) for much less than you think.

All the details are inside, along with an instant promotion code to save you over $100(!) when you start your own publishing adventure right away. The coupon saves you 10 times more than the cost of the book! It's like being paid to buy it. So what are you waiting for? Purchase Adventures in Publishing today and start publishing your full-color book tomorrow.

Perfect Book to Explain the Self-Publishing Process

There are many concerns that come with determining the best way to publish your written material. Which publishing company will be the best fit for my book and needs? What about my concerns that the final product will not match my vision? How do I go about promoting my book? Writing a book is a very personal process and authors want some assurance that their hard work will be taken seriously and given the care it deserves. With his new book, Adventures in Publishing, the CEO of Outskirts Press Brent Sampson shares the steps in working with his self-publishing company, and his wonderful creation will bring great comfort to new writers.

When a potential reader looks at the cover to Adventures in Publishing, she knows that an imaginative and beautiful reading adventure lies within its covers. The author has created a gorgeous piece that has the appearance of a children's book, with the purpose of primarily appealing to authors of children's books and other full-color publications, but contains information that is essential for anyone hoping to see their name in print. Each page addresses a different element of the process at Outskirts Press as explained through rhyme. What aspiring author cannot relate to the following concepts, "Her adventure didn't start easy because she didn't know where to turn. Traditional? Independent? Full-service? It seemed too hard to learn."

Obviously, this book is intended to serve as a marketing piece for the services offered by Outskirts Press. One of the most effective ways in which Sampson accomplishes this task is through gorgeous illustrations. The pictures are striking in their color, detail, and relevance to the accompanying text. Children's authors certainly will enjoy letting their imaginations run wild with the possible visuals that Sampson's company may provide for their own stories. Sampson plays up the illustrating component of Outskirts by displaying the various options that are available and touting the impressive pricing for the beautiful pictures.

Sampson not only takes readers through the publishing process, but also introduces us to several real clients who share testimonials about their experiences with Outskirts Press. These author pages each display a photo of the happy author, some words of appreciation for Outskirts Press and the covers of the author's published novels. I appreciate Sampson's weaving of actual clients into his book, as there is no more persuasive marketing tool than the words of satisfied customers. After reading the testimonials, I came away with the strong belief that Outskirts Press is a business that is committed to meeting the needs of each author and that works tirelessly to make sure the publishing process is as smooth and enjoyable an experience as possible.

Once authors finish reading Adventures in Publishing, they will be familiar with every aspect of self-publishing as offered by Outskirts Press. Links to specific information at the Outskirts Press website are printed throughout the book so that authors can turn to their computers and automatically learn more than what is already covered in this introductory book. The message of optimism conveyed through every detail, such the encouragement embedded in the text and the colors that jump off the pages, will inspire many authors who had been hesitant to take that first step towards publication. Through Adventures in Publishing, Brent Sampson has produced a piece that I hope all aspiring authors w
