HYPERBOLES, SIMILES AND MORE! The secret tools you need to make writing fun for your child. Adventures in Writing: A Fun Guide to Figurative Language is a comprehensive, full-color, professionally designed workbook that emphasizes the fun in writing. Sure, you can write that the lady next door snoops, but wouldn't it be more fun to say that the crazy cat lady next door is one bulb shy of a chandelier or one fry short of a happy meal, and can't keep her nose out of my business? Adventures in Writing: A Fun Guide to Figurative Language is for students in grades 3-6. It includes instruction in personification, onomatopoeia, interjection, alliteration, hyperbole, metaphor, simile and idiom. Let your children in on the fun! They will become better writers, communicators and students.
